Neijae Graham-Henries, a 7-years-old, learns to cut hair. She said, “The whole process is to finish it with a really good style and love it.”. She developed her interestin this profession when she started going along with her older brother at the Junior Barber Academy in North Philadelphia for the training. Later, she started liking the program more than her brother. Jamie Graham, the mother said, when they came back home, while watching some information on social media, she said, that her brother is not interested in the profession and she wants to give it a try.
Neijae shared her experiences at the academy and posted her hair cutting video on social media. Michael Boone, the owner of the Junior Barber Academy, confirms that Neijae is his youngest trainee.
She started with the program when she was only 7-years-old. She was able to pass the barber training school even before she began the second grade. After passing, she decided to give community service and started giving free haircuts to the kids in her neighborhood.
The Mother said, “She was not intimated because she was the youngest student and also the only female in the training school.” As a barber, Neijae dream is to cut Donald Trump’s hair. She said, “He has too long hair, I want to cut it.”
